Firstly, we wanted to say a huge thank you for your patience and continued support as we continue to transition to Peak Costs. As things continue to settle down here, we thought now would be a perfect time to provide an update on the things that will affect you directly, and share responses to some of the questions that have been raised by Clients.

You may remember that we previously provided a useful FAQ’s and we have update the same to include responses about:

  • Sending instructions
  • Paying Invoices
  • Ongoing Communications
  • Heads of Department
  • Keeping updated

Please note, we had an unexpected e-mail outage from 12pm on 20 October 2025 to 5pm on 21 October 2025 and we are unable to retrieve any e-mails sent to Paramount Legal Costs e-mail addresses during that period.

If you sent any e-mails to a Paramount e-mail address during that period, we would be grateful if you could re-send the e-mail.

We will be working hard over the course of the coming weeks and months to ensure that the ongoing process of merging the two businesses continues to be as seamless as possible for all of our clients. Where we need to make changes, we will ensure we give you plenty of notice and provide clear information on any impact these will have on you.

If you follow Paramount and KE Costs’ social media accounts you’ll hopefully have been following our journey. If you haven’t seen the Peak LinkedIn page yet, feel free to follow us here.

Where do we send new instructions?

We now have an instructions@peakcosts.com e-mail address and would be grateful, wherever possible, if this e-mail address could be used when sending instructions to Peak Costs.

The file will thereafter be acknowledged and allocated to the appropriate fee earner who will be in touch upon allocation.

When instructions are sent, we would also be grateful if you could provide a formal letter of instruction together with time and disbursement ledger (where appropriate) preferably in Excel format.

Do you have new BACS details? Where should I send payment for legacy Paramount/ KE Costs invoices?

Yes - the new Peak Costs BACS details can be provided upon request - please e-mail hello@peakcosts.com

For all legacy invoices (invoices raised prior to 01 October 2025 by KE Costs and Paramount Legal Costs respectively), we would be grateful if the appropriate legacy firm could be paid directly. Any invoices raised by Peak Costs, should be paid into the Peak Costs account.

Should you have any queries regarding invoices, and where they should be paid, please contact your usual contact at either Paramount or KE Costs.

For Court of Protection matters, where should I pay the £99 assessment fee?

For all matters, please ensure that the £99 assessment fee is paid into the Peak Costs account as listed above. We would also be grateful if you could ensure the £99 is paid as a separate fee and not included within the payment of any other invoice.
