It is with deep sadness that we shared the news that our colleague and friend, Pete Clarke, passed away at the end of January.
Pete joined KE Costs nine years ago this month and became avalued part of both the legacy KE Costs and now Peak Costs team. Many of you will have worked closely with him and will be feeling shocked and deeply saddened by this news. He was a much-loved colleague and friend.
Our team have been sharing their memories of Pete, and we’ve included a selection of them below, alongside the kind messages we’ve received over the past few weeks.
I’d only known Pete for a few months following our merger but in that time it was clear the high regard he was held in by his colleagues & our clients alike. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he always went about his day with such kindness and good humour. Sending Pete’s partner, family and friends, love and strength for today and beyond. We’ll all miss you Pete. – Martin Walsh
A truly lovely man, who’d be the first to offer help and support - especially when I was getting my head around new tech, but also had the wonderful ability to be the right level of sarcastic when needed 😌 I’ll miss you! Rest in peace 🩵 – Karen Walsh
It’s hard to put into words what made Pete special, words could never do him justice, you had to know him. I’m grateful that I had the privilege of working alongside him for the past 9 years. Pete, thank you for everything. All the kindness you showed me. All of the laughs you gave me with your impeccable humour and quick wit. I will truly miss you. – Becky Fasting
The best mentor and quite frankly one of the funniest people I ever met. May you rest in peace with a coffee the size of your arm. Legend ❤️- Jess McClelland
